Upon arrival at Cairo airport, a Landious Travel representative will greet you and take you to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. The next day, after breakfast, you will embark on a full-day tour of Cairo. You will visit the renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses over 250,000 artefacts, including the famous Tutankhamun collection.

You will then travel to the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions and witness the Sphinx. An optional evening dinner on a Nile cruise is available.

On Day 3, you will explore Alexandria with a tour guide who will show you the most extensive library in the world, the Site of the Lighthouse, the royal gardens, mosques, memorials, and statues. You will also visit the church of St. Mark and the old city centre of Alexandria.

An optional lunch is available. Day 4 is free to explore Alexandria, with optional activities such as a day trip to Rosetta or Alamein or an Alexandria-by-night tour.

On Day 5, you will return to Cairo to visit the Step Pyramids of Zoser, Memphis, and the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. Day 6 is another free day to explore Cairo with optional activities such as a tour of the Castle of Salah El Dien, Mohamed Aly Mosque, and Old Cairo or attending the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area in the evening.

On Day 7, a Landious Travel representative will assist you at the airport for a smooth and comfortable departure from Cairo.

The excitement doesn’t stop there – next, you’ll visit the iconic Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, and the Sphinx. And if that’s not enough, you can even opt for a Nile cruise dinner in the evening.

On day three, you’ll explore the vibrant city of Alexandria with a knowledgeable tour guide. Get ready to visit the most extensive library in the world, the Site of the Lighthouse, and the royal gardens, mosques, memorials, and statues. On the sixth day, you’ll have another free day to explore Cairo, with optional activities such as a tour of the Castle of Salah El Din, Mohamed Aly Mosque, and Old Cairo, or experiencing the Pyramids area’s mesmerizing Sound & Light show in the evening.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arriving at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by a Landious Travel representative holding a sign with your name. We will then escort you to an air-conditioned car that will take you to your hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo Tour 1

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. You’ll be amazed by the rare collection of 5000 years of art, which is the world’s largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art. With over 250,000 genuine artefacts, you won’t miss the exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamun collection of treasures, gold, and jewellery.

These artefacts were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s during an excavation.

Afterwards, head to the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal pyramid ever built, and you can get an up-close look at these ancient wonders. You’ll also see the Sphinx, a massive funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren. And don’t forget to enjoy a free camel ride while you’re there!

If you’re interested, you can also take an evening trip to enjoy a dinner onboard a Nile cruise for 2 hours, including watching Egyptian folk shows. We will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Alexandria Tour

A tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your Alexandria tour. Visit the world’s most extensive library – the Library of Alexandria, which houses eight million books. You can explore the open court and free museums, but please note that the library is closed on Fridays and public holidays. Additionally, if you want to enter the reading area, it will be preferable to purchase an extra ticket.

Next, head to the Site of the Lighthouse, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Nowadays, it is home to the Castle of Qaitbey. You can also visit the royal gardens of King Farouk and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, as well as the royal beaches of the queens.

The Abbo Elabbas Mosque is also a must-see, as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.

If you’re hungry, you can stop for an optional lunch before visiting the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa. After that, drive along the Cornish (30 km) to see Alexandria from the seaside. This includes the old harbour of Alexandria, where 7000 monuments were found underwater.

You can also stop over the famous Stanley Bridge, the modern landmark of modern Alexandria. Then, you can visit the old downtown area of Alexandria and walk through the senior city centre, which was built by Alexander the Great. Finally, travel back to your hotel in comfort.

Day 4: Alex Free Day

If you have a free day, there are some excellent optional activities to enjoy. You could take a day trip to Rosetta and see the famous Rosetta Stone. Another option is to visit El Alamein, a significant battle site from the Second World War. Alternatively, you could explore Alexandria by night. You’ll spend the night in Alexandria so that you can look forward to a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Day 5: Alex – Cairo Tour 2

Enjoy a delectable breakfast at the hotel before heading back to Cairo. Once you arrive, take a trip to see the Step Pyramids of Djoser, the oldest central stone structure in the world. These pyramids were built for King Djoser during the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC).

Next, you will head to Memphis, founded by King Menes and serving as Old Egypt’s capital during the Old Kingdom. It was a centre of rule and culture for over 3000 years and Egypt’s first capital. While there, make sure to see the Statue of Ramses II.

On your way south, visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. After your eventful day, you will spend the night in Cairo.

Day 6: Cairo free day

On day 5 of your trip, you can explore the Red and Bent Pyramids in Dahshur. Following your exciting excursion, you will be spending the night in Cairo.

For day 6, you will have a free day to enjoy at your leisure. There are optional activities available, such as visiting the Castle.

Day 7: Departure

After having breakfast at the hotel, our representative will accompany you to the airport and assist with the final departure formalities.
